Which Institute are you talking about? I am providing information about two important 3 year LLB entrance exam's syllabus. If you information about any other entrance then do let us know.

DU LLB Entrance's Syllabus comprises following sections:

English Language Comprehension: In the question paper of DU LLB 2019, candidates will be tested on their skills of understanding unseen passages and answering the questions related. This section of the paper will be of 25 marks where the topic of questions will include grammar, comprehension, proverbs, antonyms, synonyms, one word substitute, sentence and word correction, spell checks and cloze passages.

Analytical Abilities: This section of the paper will test candidate’s knowledge of Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Number Systems, Percentage, Average, Profit Loss, Time Speed and Distance, Areas Mensuration, Probability, Venn Diagrams, People Work and Time, Blood Relations, Sets, Missing Numbers, Series and Statistics Graphs.

Legal Awareness and Aptitude: In this section, candidates will be examined on the topics - Legal propositions, Conclusions, Legal Maxims and Bare Acts of the Indian Constitution.

General Knowledge: Here, the candidates will be tested static general knowledge and current affairs.

MH CET Law is another important entrance exam for 3-year LLB. It copmrises 5 sections named below:

Logical and Analytical Reasoning: In this section candidates will be examined on the logical links, rectifying illogical arguments and identifying patterns. The subject will include completing arguments, drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogies, applying principles, and rules and wide analogies. It also includes reasoning from a set of statements and rules and principles that describes the relationship among persons, things or events.

General Knowledge with Current Affairs: This section will consist of the topics such as Geography, General science, civics, economics, History (Ancient, Medieval and Modern). The main aim of this section is to examine the candidate's knowledge of the latest happenings taking place around.

Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning: In this section, candidates will be examined on their problem-solving abilities. Moreover, the questions will also be set on the basis of legal propositions and mention facts to which the propositions need to be applied by the examinees. Some propositions may not be true in the real sense and candidates need to assume fact of these propositions (propositional truth) and answer the questions drawing well-supported conclusions.

Mathematical Aptitude: This section will include questions from class 10th mathematics including time and work, algebra, numerical ability, average, Venn diagram, profit and loss and speed distance.

English: Topics including English usage errors (common errors, spotting errors in sentence, inappropriate usage of words, spelling mistakes etc.), improvement and rearrangement of sentences, English comprehension and passages and Proficiency (idioms and phrases, one word substitution, improvement and rearrangement of sentences, fill in the blanks etc.) will be included in this section.
