The admission to BA LLB course at University of Allahabad is done by a national level entrance test conducted by the University. The exam is of 2 hours duration with 150 MCQs of 2 marks each.

There are 3 sections in the test,

• Language Comprehension - 40 questions of English and 10 questions of Hindi
• General Awareness and Current Affairs - 50 questions
• Reasoning, Mental Ability and Legal Aptitude - 25 questions of Reasoning and 25 questions of legal aptitude
