What is the syllabus for AILET 2022 from BA LLB?
There will be five sections of the syllabus of AILET exam 2022. These five sections are
- English
- Logical Reasoning
- Legal Aptitude
- General Knowledge
- Elementary Mathematics
The total number of questions asked in each section of the syllabus 35 and each question carries one mark. Now I am mentioning below the syllabus of each section:
- English: grammar, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms, sentence errors and corrections, verbal ability, reading comprehension based on law terminologies and themes, idioms and phrases, jumble words and sentences
- Logical Reasoning: blood relations, syllogism, logical links, identifying patterns, rectifying in logical arguments, series directions, analogies
- Legal Aptitude: strict liability, the law of crimes, International Law, intellectual property rights, torts, legal awareness covering constitutional law and quality.
- General Knowledge: sports, awards and Honours, International events, UN bodies, history, general science, economics, civics, geography, geopolitics, etc.
- Elementary Mathematics: number system, profit and loss, algebra, geometry, height and distance, percentage, time and work, numerical ability etc.

There will be 150 questions covering areas including General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Current affairs, Numerical ability and English language.
Under English language-
-Fill in the blanks, Comprehension passage, Antonyms, Synonyms, Idioms and phrases, jumble words.
-Mathematics- Algebra, Profit and loss, time and work, average, speed and distance, venn diagram
-General Knowledge- Economics, Civis, Current Affairs, history, geography, General science
-Legal aptitude- Study of law, research aptitude, problem-solving
-Reasoning- Logical and analytical reasoning skills
