What is the syllabus for B.E.D entrance exam in BHU

In order to prepare for B.E.D entrance exam of Banaras Hindu University, the candidates have to be thorough with the syllabus which are as follows:
Languages - Hindi, Sanskrit and English
Mathematics - Statistics and Mathematics
Science - Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics and Home Science
Humanities and Political Science - Political Science, History, Geography, Economics, Commerce and Home Science.

There shall be one paper of 150 minutes (Two and half hours) duration carrying 300 marks containing 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), to be divided into the following two parts:
a) 30 MCQs on teaching aptitude, reasoning, current educational scenario;
b) There will be four subject groups viz., Languages, Science, Mathematics and Social Sciences and Humanities.
The candidate will be required to appear in the group for which he/she has given option in the application form on the basis of his/her eligibility. Each group will have 70 MCQs. The distribution of questions in the various groups will be as under: Languages- Equitable items from Hindi, English, Sanskrit; Science- Equitable items from Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics and Home Science, Computer Science; Mathematics- Majority of the items will be from Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science; Humanities and Social Sciences- Equitable items from History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Commerce and Home Science.
Important Note: -
(i) While filling the online application form candidate must categorically choose his/her options for: 1 - B.Ed.; 2 - B.Ed. Special – VI & HI; and 3 - Both B.Ed. and B.Ed. Special – VI & HI. Accordingly, the choices will be permitted during counselling and final admission.
(ii) Exercise of the choice of the Programme and Subject Group according to his/her eligibility qualifications is the responsibility of the candidate at the time of filling online form. The candidate appearing for the B.Ed.; B.Ed – Special Visual Impairment (VI) and Hearing Impairment (HI) common entrance test will have to choose only one group and will have no option to change his subject group if once allotted. Choosing subject group not commensurating with eligibility and/or appearing in the test in subject group not opted for, will disqualify the candidature at any stage. Choice of Programme and Subject Group once exercised in the online application form will be final.

The admission to undergraduate courses at BHU is through UET exam. The application process for UET has started from January. To apply, a candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board. UET is conducted offline and is an objective exam. The entrance exam is conducted in April or May every year. The exam is conducted separately for different streams. The result will be declared around first or second week of June. The B.ed or B.ed special education paper is divided into two sections. One is a general paper which is common for all and the other is a subject specific paper. The topics for the exam are-
1.General Paper or section one-Teaching Aptitude, Reasoning, Current Educational Scenario etc.
2.Language subject group- Hindi, English, Sanskrit
3.Science subject group- questions from Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, and Home Science
4.Mathematics subject group-Topics from Mathematics and Statistics
5.Humanities and Social Sciences subject group- questions from History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Commerce, and Home Science.
