IISc has not specified any syllabus for KVPY. However, the exam authority suggests following your NCERT syllabus and books for preparation. However, there are a few topics that collide with JEE Syllabus as well.

I am assuming you are studying in Class 11th. So, you can apply for KVPY 2018 SA stream.

One is required to completely go through the Mathematics and Science
(Physics, Chemistry and Biology) syllabus done till class 11.

Some of the topics covered in different subjects in KVPY 2018 syllabus are:

Physics :
Magnetic Effects of Current, Sources of Energy, Reflection, Refraction,
Electromagnetic Induction, Applications in Daily Life, Kinematics, Laws
of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Physical World and Measurement,
Gravitation, Thermodynamics.

Chemistry :
Chemical Reactions, Metals and Non-Metals, Periodic Classification of
Elements, Carbon Compounds, Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Thermodynamics,
States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Classification of Elements &
Periodicity in Properties, Acids, Bases and Salts, Environmental
Chemistry.

Biology :
Control and Coordination in Animals and Plants, Heridity and Evolution,
Reproduction, Life Processes, Diversity of Living Organisms, Cell:
Structure and Function, Our environment, Plant Physiology, Human
Physiology.

Mathematics :
Real Number, Polynomials, Geometry, Introduction to Trigonometry,
Statistics, Quadratic Equations, Mathematical Reasoning, Statistics and
Probability, Probability, Surface Areas & Volumes, Coordinate
Geometry, Trigonometric Functions.

KVPY syllabus is almost similar to that of the syllabus from class X/XII/1st year of B.S./ B.Sc./B.Math./B.Stat./M.S./Int. M.Sc. The examination is conducted in 3 different streams namely SA, SX and SB. Each stream includes questions from Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

KVPY(Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) is a national level examination conducted by IISc Bangalore and have about 99 test cities and is planned to be conducted on 3rd November.
