The syllabus for entrance examination for MA english literature is not same for all universities but it is similar. The subjects based on which the exam will be held are listed below
- Language and grammar
- Literary terms and concepts
- Comprehension and writing
History of English literature is a very prominent subject along with grammar. I would suggest that you refer books like 'history of English literature by Edward Albert '.
