So some of the subjects are similar to that of the MBBS, which is for the linking between the two courses and the two individuals working at a same place to understand the the concepts while working.
The entrance exam for the course is conducted by the various universities for their own course while some institutes accept the admission on the merit basis.
For the entrance exam, you can refer to the syllabus of the NEET and also can study NEET papers. Since, there are no question paper available, I would advice you to do this.
Good Luck !!!
Hi,
The subjects in Occupational Therapy is somewhat related to MBBS field. The syllabus includes Psychology, Physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology etc. You can refer to the following link for complete course information: https://www.careers360.com/courses/occupational-therapy-course
You have not mentioned the particular institute for which you are appearing for entrance exam. Occupational therapy course comes under paramedical courses. So, generally paramedical courses includes an entrance examination. The entrance exam generally has syllabus from Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics of class 11 and 12. Many institutes contains questions from GK and English section. The questions are not that of NEET level but not even simple. If you are preparing religiously for NEET, you can go through the exam. Talking about sample paper, please mention the institute , so that we can help you out. There are institutes like JIPMER, PGIMER, GMCH paramedical institutes and each follow different exam pattern.
I'm from Kerala. The thing is,Occupational therapy was not included as a paramedical course here.It started now only and most probably the exam is gonna be conducted next month. Therefore,no one has much info on this.Anyway,NISH and NIPMR are the 2 paramedical bodies here.I asked this to get a general idea about the entrance exam. Thanks again!
