what is the syllabus for UPSE and how to prepare for the it as a beginner?

hello aspirant,

we can recommend you some of the methods with the help of which you will surely be able to prepare for the exam as a beginner-

you should have  at least 10 – 12 months in hand, before the UPSC prelims exam for preparation. You can comprehensively cover the syllabus and have enough test practice only then. You should start with the common GS papers before moving on to the optional papers. also note that you-

  1. Understand the UPSC pattern and procedure first.
  2. Go through the UPSC syllabus thoroughly.
  3. Start reading a few books and watch video lectures online for a few basic subjects like polity, history, geography, etc.
  4. Read the newspaper regularly.
