JEE MAINS PAPER 2 EXAM PATTERN



It consist of 3 sections

• Section 1:Includes an Aptitude Test that has 50 Objective Questions for 200 marks. The questions in this section are all about general awareness, analytical skills of the students and reasoning ability.

• Section 2:It is a Math Test with 30 Objective Questions for 120 marks

• Section 3:This will be a Drawing test that has 2 Questions (Memory, 2D Design) for 70 marks

B.Arch JEE Main Paper 2 Syllabus

• Mathematics: Sets, Relations and Functions ,Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations, Matrices and Determinants, Mathematical Induction, Sequences and Series ,Permutations and Combinations, Limits, Continuity and Differentiability,, Applications of Binomial Theorem, Integral Calculus, Differential Equation, Vector Algebra, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate Geometry, Three Dimensional Geometry, Probability, Statistics, and Mathematical Reasoning.

• Aptitude test: Awareness of places, persons, buildings and materials, Texture and objects related to Architecture and building environment, Visualising 3D objects from 2D drawings, Visualising different sides of 3D objects, Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical and Verbal), Analytical Reasoning, Three dimensional  perception and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, colour texture, building forms and elements, contrast and harmony.

• Drawing test: Drawing and designing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil, Transformation of forms both 2 D and 3 D union, Elevations and 3 D views of objectsRotation, Development of surfaces and volumes, Generation of Plan, Creating 2D and 3D compositions using given shapes and forms, Sketching of activities from memory of urban scenes (public space, festivals, market, street scenes, recreational spaces monuments, etc.), landscape (gardens, trees, river fronts, jungles, plants etc.) and rural life.

Hello B. Arch Aspirants!

You may be asked to answer of both 2d and 3d in B. Arch Exam i.e. it can be circle, square, cube or sphere etc. It can be from 2-D and 3d transformation or 2d and 3d composition of shapes.

Candidates must master concepts referring 11th and 12th class textbooks to understand the concepts and ace JEE main 2020 paper 2
