What is the syllabus of kvpy and what is the future after clearing that exam. Is this exam ncert based or what books we are to refer
For maths you can solve RD SHARMA objective + NCERT .
For physics you can solve THE BIBLE OF PHYSICS i.e HC VERMA
If you crack both the rounds of KVPY then these are the advantages -
1- You will get a scholarship of Rs.80,000 around per year for 3 years during your UG studies and Rs 1.1 lakhs around for 2 years during PG studies.
2- You will be eligible to join prestigious institutions like IISc,IISER etc.
3- You have an opportunity to participate in a science camp(vijyoshi) at IISC,various internships where kvpy fellows are preferred more over others etc.
KVPY Streams/Categories - SA, SB and SX
Please mention for which KVPY stream syllabus you want to know about.
Good Luck!
There is no specific syllabus for KVPY exam as your 10th,11th, and 12th topics of NCERT are the only ways possible to crack it with flying colours. And if you clear this exam then you will be getting scholarship of Rs.5000 pm and 20,000 annually. Also, you can directly apply for IISER once you clear KVPY SX stream. So it would be better if you could share what is your current qualification accordingly I would be helping you further or you can check all about KVPY 2017 below as well and let me know if you face any doubt -
