Hey Rahul,

The students getting Admission via lateral entry have the same syllabus as that of regular students. You will be in the same classes and will be treated same as regular students. You get admission in 2nd year directly after diploma through Lateral entry because you have already studied the basic subjects and so, you have enough knowledge to be admitted in the 4th semester directly. There is no change in the curriculum for diploma students.
Taking about the entrance examination, it varies with institutes, but will mostly have the basic subjects of civil eengineering. They will be testing your basic knowledge and Aptitude.
