Accord Business School is one of the most recognized MBA colleges in Tirupati. It is affiliated to Sri Venkateswara University and was established in 2009. The university itself is considered as one of the oldest universities in Andhra Pradesh and holds a NAAC rating of 'A' . It offers a variety of post graduation degree programs such as M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Ed, LLM, M.Pharma, MBA, MCA etc. For getting admission in MBA or MCA course, the university conducts a common entrance test, APICET ( Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test) and then, the qualified candidates are contacted on the basis of the ranks and cut off.

The APICET counselling for admissions, 2019 is expected to happen in June. The counselling and seat allocation process, both are an offline process and the candidates are allotted different colleges on the basis of their ranks obtained in the entrance exam.

Following the last year cut off ranks, published by Accord Business School (Tirupati) for MBA, it would be advisable to secure 7000 approx rank. This rank can be obtained by getting 55% approx marks, that is, 110 out of 200. For getting a call, one should at least strive for marks that is either 110 or above.

The final cut off which will be decided is dependent on a variety of factors such as total number of students participating in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, marking scheme, highest marks, availability of the seats, reservation and performance of the aspirants. This year, APICTE is scheduled to be conducted on 2nd May while the registration window will remain open from 16th March till 24th April (dates are tentative in nature).

If one successfully manages to qualify the entrance test with an acceptable rank, then for securing the seat in ABS, he/she needs to appear in Group discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the college . The final call of giving admission is influenced by the performance of candidates in the Entrance exam, Group discussion and Personal interview and the decision rests in the hands of the authority of Accord Business School.
