Hey

Cracking India's top technical examination is not a cake walk. For that a student need to be highly focused and determined towards the preparation. There are majorly, 2 strategies for GATE:

  • Cracking while completing 4th year
  • Cracking GATE after a year drop (Full drop or with job)

In both the cases the student should have all concepts cleared and well versed with them.

  • Best time to start preparing for it would be in 5th or 6th semester, from where the student should start focusing and clearing all conceptual part of the syllabus.
  • And keep practicing the questions related to them, abiding by the syllabus is highly recommended.
  • Giving Mock test is very important, where in you will be able to check your mistakes and analyse your performance every time.
  • For Test series and Doubt clearing one might join a coaching or do it by self study.

A consistent and calm preparation will definitely give positive result

All the best
