Hello student,

This year the Medical Association of India in consultation with the Central Government of India has decided to lower the cutoff marks by 6 percentile. Earlier, the cutoff was fixed to be 50th percentile, equal to 340 marks. This year it is going to be 44th percentile, equal to 313 marks.

There is a noticeable difference between fee structure of private and government medical colleges. Every government colleges charge you less than Rs 100000/- per year, including some charge as low as 6000-10000.

While the private colleges have fees over 10,00,000 lakhs per annum.

Cheers!!
