Dear Yamini, there are 2,447 MBBS seats in Government Medical Colleges across Tamilnadu available for State Counselling. And ST Category has 1% reservation. This means a total of 24 seats available for ST Category.

As per the data of government MBBS seats through NEET 2019, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra are the states which have the maximum number of MBBS seats in their government medical colleges. NTA has released the NEET result 2019 rank list on June 5 for the qualified candidates. It will allow them to know whether they are eligible for getting MBBS admission or not, and NEET counselling process of All India Quota (AIQ) will begin tentatively from the second week of June 2019 onwards.
