The NEET reservation scheme is divided into three broad categories - All India Quota, State Quota and Management.
Who all can avail 15% All India Quota seats?
The following residents can avail the 15% All India Quota seats in NEET Exam:
Under the All India Quota (AIQ), there is a reservation of seats in medical colleges and dental colleges for SC, ST, OBC and Physically Handicapped candidates.
The reservation of seats for 15% All India Quota is indicated below:
Note: There is no reservation of seats for candidates from OBC-Creamy layer.
All central. state and private colleges/universities will participate in AIQ (All India Quota) counselling through which 15% of the total seats will be filled.
NRI quota basically is reservation for NRIs. The have to pay NRI fees which is way more higher than what normal students would pay.
In AIIMS and JIPMER THE fees for foreign nationals is 75,000 USD for the entire course of MBBS.
In other colleges like KMC manipal and mangalore it is 207,000 USD for the entire course. In all private colleges the fees for foreign nationals would be between 40,000-50,000 USD per year. I do not know the exact figures.
In government colleges there is no NRI quota.
good luck !!!
