I guess you are asking for the State Quota.
Since you haven't mentioned about the Category, I am assuming you to be from UR.
First of all, follow the dictum.
Better you score, much better for you.
Mumbai is a competitive area and hance for being in good hands, you must secure a good total.
Even for 2018 stats, Grant Medical College closed down at 8816 rank which if corresponds to 2019 score, stands at 597.
Even for the better colleges like Seth GS, Topiwala as well as Lokmanya Tilak, the closing rank for UR was areound 3.4k which in 2019 corresponded to a score of 620.
So, the equation seems quite clear friend, a total above 610 and it would be helpful assuming that NEET 2020 won't see much rank inflation as compared to 2019.

Good Luck !
Hello aspirant,
In order to get into a government medical college in Mumbai you need to score a minimum of 520 or 530 if you belong to maharashtra as this is the cutoff for state quota.
If you belong to some reserved category then the cutoff may decrease.
Also if you are going for any college in maharashtra under state quota 510_520 would be a safe score to get a government college.
Hope it helps
Thank you
