General rank is required for this!

Local rank is nothing but it is similar like general rank.

the only difference is that the general rank is for all the students belonging to the state or not.the students from states other than Andhra Pradesh get admission through their general rank.

For the students from the Same state or home state they can get admission through local Rank.

local rank is used for local reservations like AU,SVU an OU.
