The OBC non creamy layer certificate is valid for one year from the date of releasing of certificate from the concerned authority. The OBC non creamy layer certificate are prepared for those categories who satisfy the wealth and income criteria.

However there is another criteria as well and that is that if the OBC non creamy layer certificate is issued by State authority then it is valid for 3 years and if it is issued by central authority then it will be valid for one year only.
