See validity of EWS certificate generally varies from state to state but usually it is valid till one year from the date of issue not for one financial year. If you want to check the validity period of your EWS certificate then you have to check out the website of Department of Revenues of your respective state.

So if your EWS certificate was issued on March 1st 2021 then it should be valid till March 1st 2022.
