What is the validity period of the conduct certificate issued by the institution last attended? would a conduct certificate issued by a Gazetted office would be enough at the time of admission?

Hello!
The validity of conduct certificate is usually 6 months from the date of issue. However the validity can also be upto 3 years depending on the organisation issuing the conduct certificate.
The Gazetted officer has an authority to issue character certificate and the conduct certificate issued by Gazetted officer in specified format is also acceptable .
