what is the value pH value of Clean Water and Acid Rain?
Dear aspirant,
Hope you and your family are safe in this pandemic situation.
As coming to the query, pH is a measurement of electrically charged particles in a substance. It indicates how acidic or alkaline that substance .The ph value of most cleaning water lies between 6 to 8.5.Generally natural water has low ph value.
when rain combines with sulfur dioxide or nitrogen oxides and produced from power plants and automobiles and the rain becomes much more acidic. Typical acid rain has a ph value of 4.0.
Hope this information is helpful to you.
Hello,
The pH of most drinking-water lies within the range 6.5–8.5. Natural waters can be of lower pH, as a result of, for example, acid rain or higher pH in limestone areas. Normal, clean rain has a pH value of between 5.0 and 5.5, which is slightly acidic. However, when rain combines with sulfur dioxide or nitrogen oxides—produced from power plants and automobiles—the rain becomes much more acidic. Typical acid rain has a pH value of 4.0.
hope it helped.
Hi there,
The ph value is the measure big acidity and basicity in any substance, the normal flowing water is neutral hence its ph is 7 , anything below 7 is acidic like the acid rain water, and above 7 is basic.
I hope this help
