The placements can be of two types, Campus placement and Out side placement.

If you are referring to the Campus placement, then it depends upon your college.

Generally government colleges like NIT's have very well placement for Computer Science and good placement for Electronics.

The placements for Civil depends upon the year and the requirements.

With reference to placement , Cse and IT students are the ones who are most likely to be placed easily.

Currently and in the future when You will graduate there will be more placements in Computer Science than today. Moreoever the jobs are more in Computer Science field than electronics and civil fields. CSE>ECE>Civil. The jobs are hard to find for Civil engineers. There is a lack of placements in civil sector. Electronics and Computer Science walks together in the sector as the computer science engineers needs computers for work which are in turn developed by the electronic engineers.
