UGC NET is a professional examination meant for determining the deserving candidate who wished to apply for the post of assistant professor or research fellowships.
A UGC NET qualified candidate can apply for mentorships in online as well as offline classes for various courses.
Eligibility criteria: A candidate must have passed their Masters degree with a minimum of 55% from a recognised university/institution by the UGC can apply for the examination. It is a three-hour examination.

National Testing Agency conductes University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test UGC NET. It is a National level exam and aspirants of Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) can appear in this exam.
It is conducted twice in a year. It is available both offline as well as online mode.
The candidates belonging to General Category must have 55 percentage in their Masters degree or equivalent exam from a recognized College or University.
The candidates belonging to Reserved Category must have 50 percentage in their Masters degree or equivalent exam from a recognized College or University.
