XAT examination is divided into four sections: Verbal And Logical Ability, Decision making, Data Interpretation , General Knowledge . It is of 180 minutes. Its marking scheme is +1/-0.25. Also from this year onwards, if there are more than 12 unattempted questions, then there will be a deduction of 0.1 marks for each unattempted question.

QA & DI- Percentage, Profit & Loss, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Equations, Polynomials, Numbers, Progressions, Probability, Permutation and Combination, Data Sufficiency, Scatter Plots and Bar Charts, etc.

GK- History, Currency, Invention, Geography, National Capital, Culture, Books and authors, Personalities, Important Dates, Films, Science and Business, Current affairs, etc.
