Hello!!

Zift refers to zygote intra fallopian transfer and gift refers to gamete intra fallopian transfer,in later gamete from male is transfered to fallowing tube, sometimes zygote intra fallopian transfer is used for those female who can offer a suitable environment but can not conceive. Theses techniques come under ART.

Thank you

Hello there!

Greetings!

ZIFT i.e Zygote Intra Fallopian Transfer is the process in which zygote or early embryo within upto 8 blastomeres is transferred into the Fallopian tube of female. Whereas GIFT i.e Gamete Intra Fallopian Transfer is the process in which ovum collected from a donor female is transferred into the Fallopian tube of another female, who cannot produce an ovum, but can provide suitable conditions for fertilisation and further development,  so you can see that the  main difference between ZIFT and GIFT is that ZIFT transfers a fertilized egg directly into the fallopian tubes while GIFT utilizes a mixture of sperm and eggs. So , you can that ZIFT and GIFT are different. I hope that you find this helpful.

Thankyou
