Hi

Only body which is in motion has velocity otherwise if it is in rest then it is zero

The velocity of an object in motion can be defined  a s the rate of change of  position of the object in motion with respect to time.

Velocity is equivalent to a speed in a specific  direction of motion

For example, 60 km/h to the east

Its SI unit is m/s

Thank you
