What job can i get after completing my ug degree? (B. Sc botany).
You can find lot of career opportunities in public sector after pursuing bsc(botany). You can joinBotanical Survey of India(BSI),National Institute of Oceanography (NIO),Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI),Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) etc. as Project Assistant, Technical Assistant, Field Assistant or Scientific Assistant. Relatively there are less opportunities available for you in private sector when compared to public sector. It is possible for you to work in private firms like Nursery Farms, Environmental Consultancies etc. as Environmental Consultant, Nursery Manger or Greenhouse Manager.
Good luck...
Let me explain in brief about the options you have after completing BSc. (Botany) -
Firstly, BSc. (Botany) is a graduation subject like any other major papers. So, after BSc. (Botany), you can persue MSc. (Botany) in a good University by either through entrance examination or by joining some good private university if you have the luxury of paying high fees.
Further, you can later appear for NET/JRF/SET and pursue MPhil. Or PhD. and go for Lecturership and Research.
Moreover, you can also prepared for competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, SBI PO and all other state PCS.
Hope you get it..
