Well internship is necessary in some of the courses .. I am pursuing BBA hons from GLA university and its mandatory to have 6-8 weeks internship program after completion of second year in this course..

If talking about that whether university provides internship to students or not..or if yes then what kind of internship they provide...

Various companies arrives in the university to provide great internship program to the students

The university provides internship in different specialisation to the students..many of my friends got wonderful internship program and are getting good stipend too .....

And yes a lot of students gets internship ....

Well sometimes its not about how many people are being provided with internship...because its all about your capability to explain and present yourself in front of interviewer....

BUT as far as its in the hands of university...then university invites various companies to offer internships...

FOR EXAMPLE ...In MBA

There is a tie up of university with SAFEDUCATE company..in which they provide 6 months internship program to the students at very handsome stipend in return....

and even ...the extra ordinary students gets placement in that same company too...

THEREFORE...

Various opportunities are provided to the students in GLA University ....And you should go for it

Internships are mandatory after completion of third year. Students can opt for internships in college or outside the college in some private or government firm.
