CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is a law examination, the score of which is the basis of admission in 21 NLUs throughout the country and a number of other colleges.
The test consists of 150 questions.
The subjects include:-
- Quantitative Techniques
- Current affairs
- Logical reasoning
- English
- Deductive Reasoning
Preparation for CLAT depends on your target institute that you wish to get an admission into. Most people start their preparation from their 10+1. This would require an aspirant to study at least 2-2.5 hours every weekday and 4-5 hours on weekends if they wish to get an admission into one of the NLUs. It's essential to take mock tests in order to get an idea of how the actual tests work. It's also important to keep up with current affairs as it's a core subject and carries over 25% of the syllabus.

Hello student CLAT has recently changed its examination pattern and the total number of questions has reduced to 150 from 200. The question pattern has devided into 5 sections mentioned below -
1)Current affairs
2)legal reasoning
3)logical reasoning
4)English
5)Quantitative aptitude
You need to read quality news papers daily it'll help you in all sections except QA. solve previous year question papers as constorium of clat has mentioned that it's also very important, fews weeks ago constorium of clat has uploaded few videos on youtube for preparation strategy you can watch it.

The first thing you should do is understand tue syllabus and paper pattern.
After that prepare a study plan that suits you best according to the syllabus and paper pattern.
Revise and practice question of the topic which you have studied. Frequent revision of the topics are must. As it will improve your memory and clear your doubt. If you find difficulty in understanding some subjects you can take a guidance from the expert or the teacher of that subject.
Practice previous years question paperss it will give you idea how the actual paper is.
Try to solve mock test. They will prepare you for the exam environment.
Refer selected but good books.

The question in clat exam are of 10+2 level. You do not require very tough preparation for it. What. You need is consistency ,proper study plan,time management and a devoted. time for studies. There are five section from which question are asked in CLAT exam.
