JEE Advanced maximum are not defined :

Maximum Marks vary every year like below:

2017- 366

2016- 372

2015 - 504

2014 - 360

So, it is difficult to predict marks as exam pattern and marks change every year but you should score more than 50% marks to get good branch in Top IITs

The JEE Advanced cutoffs are as,

opening ranks were at AIR 831 and closed down at AIR 1394 as per 2017 trends for Mechanical engineering at IIT kanpur for General Category.





AIR 1394 corresponding approximately a marks of atleast 255-275 range for JEE Advanced.



The ranks  shall vary as per marks every year because of following reasons:-



1. Difficulty level of questions paper

2. Total candidates appeared

3. Respective Performance of all candidates

4. Previous year cutoff trends.



You need to work hard with smart planning and give alot of mock exams to achieve 250+.
