Hello Aspirant!

Jamia Millia Islamia is a public central university. It was established in 1920. The University offers various UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma and MPhil & PhD courses in different disciplines.

  • Candidates are selected in all the programs offered by various faculties and centres of Jamia Millia Islamia through merit determined on the basis of an entrance test conducted by JMI (except BTech, BArch, and BDS)
  • Candidates are selected in the BTech and BArch on the basis of the final ranks in JEE Main
  • Admission to BDS program shall be done on the basis of merit in the NEET exam
  • Candidates can apply on-line on the official website of the university
  • The university offers self-financed, part-time with distance education courses ( Centre of Distance & Open Learning (CODL)) in various streams
  • Candidates obtaining less than 30% marks in the descriptive part of the JMI entrance test , wherever applicable, will not be shortlisted for interview/admission
