Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. In 2019, for boys, the cut off was 596 and for girls the cut off was 610. Again as mentioned this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. So for 2020, you should aim for atleast 625 irrespective of your gender. This is because, seats in AFMC are filled under All India Quota. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. Though the admission at AFMC is also based on TOELR, PAT and Personal round of Interview, unless you score more than 625, it might be difficult to be shortlisted for AFMC. And this year because NEET has been postponed by 5 months almost, the competition is going to get tough and so the cut offs also will be higher. So you need to target atleast 625 and more in NEET 2020.
