Hello cherukuri sri suvarna ,
This is very difficult to say. because we cant judge the most difficult and most easy shifts with percentile.
It also depends a lot on the number of students appearing for that shift. But from my sources and data i can tell you few cases of shifts and percentile change. Hope you'd be able to analyse from that:
125 marks (9th jan first slot): 95.85 percentile.
155 marks (9th jan first slot): 98.2 percentile.
192 marks (10th jan first slot): 98.55 percentile.
186 marks (10th jan 2nd Slot): 98.69 percentile.
160 marks (10th jan 2nd Slot): 97.5 percentile.
299 marks (10th jan 2nd Slot): 99.94 percentile.
177 marks (11th jan first slot) : 98.26 percentile.
198 marks (11th jan second slot): 98.23 percentile.
165 marks (11th jan second shift): 95.75 percentile.
152 marks (11th jan second slot): 95.49 percentile.
178 marks (12th jan first slot): 97.26 percentile.
203 marks (12th jan second slot): 98.87 percentile
You can judge from this. The percentile doesnot only depends on the marks or the toughness but also the number of students in your slot. So basically, more than the difficulty of the paper, a bigger deciding factor has now become how many above average scoring people are in your slot and how many below average, and that's just pure luck now. Even drop in percentile by 1% causes drop in rank by 10k. So basically unless you score extremely well (300+) luck plays a huge role in deciding your rank.
(PS: The data provided here is very correct upto my knowledge and it is gathered from the student reviews of the exam regarding their marks after the results were out.)
Hope it helps!
