The higher the score, the better the ranking and eventually the better college you have a chance to get a seat. Any rank less than 4000 is considered good in order to take admission in the top colleges. It also depends on the rank range on the basis of which  different colleges take admission. Your category rank and state rank also matters for taking admission into top Medical colleges.
