the basic cutoff for SC category goes around 55 on average over the years but just passing the cutoff doe not guarantee admission into good NITs
here are some cutoff for a better perspective
NIT Delhi
- Electronics and Communication Engineering closing rank of around 5k
- Computer Science and Engineering closing rank of around 1.5k
NIT Durgapur
- Electronics and Communication Engineering closing rank of around 2.5k
- Computer Science and Engineering closing rank of around 1.6k
NIT Kurukshetra
- Electronics and Communication Engineering closing rank of around 3.5k
- Computer Science and Engineering closing rank of around 1.2k
So if you do not have a field preference then you can go for Biotechnology or mechanical engineering cutoff goes 5-7k.
I order to just enter in the college means the cut off rank for school category at Nit warangal, trichy you need to have a percentile score of more than 80 .
If you are able to score this percentile then you can get into any of the colleges you want.
