Hello Amit,
To qualify JEE mains you need to have 76 percentile in OBC category and to get admission in top NITs you must have at least 96 percentile. Only after getting about 76 percentile in JEE mains you are eligible for JEE advance exam, but if you don't want to go for JEE Advance then according to your rank you can get admission in respective colleges of engineering. Also, you require a 65% in board exams of 12th in 5 subjects. But if you have only 4 subjects then it's difficult for you.
By getting above 76 percentile you can get admission in DTU, VIT, SRM, YMCA, UPES, IPU and many more good colleges. These colleges have good ranking amongst top colleges of engineering with good placements, faculty, infrastructure and opportunities. You can get admission in core branches of these universities or in the branches which are of your interest but only if you get above 76 percentile in JEE mains. Also, there is a chance that you may get qualify for scholarship if you get good percentile between 85 to 90.
Good luck, Amit.

Good evening,
As per JEE Mains 2019 cut-off, the minimum percentile required for OBC-NCL candidates to qualify is 78.2174869. One need to score atleast equal or greater than the minimum percentile cut-off to stand qualified in the exam. In previous years, instead of percentile, marks out of 360 were the criteria to generalise cut-off for every category but since now NTA has changed the guidelines, percentile system is used.
