Hello Nimish,

The minimum percentage of marks required is 75% for the general and Obc category, while it is 70% for sc, st and other backward categories. You should have a language and the best 4 subject scores will be considered.

Coming to colleges, different colleges have different cut-offs. In order to be eligible for JEE main, you have to get a minimum of 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.

In case you want to go for a private college or any other government, pls tell the name of the exam or college, for info.

You may search the respective info under the admission and eligibility section. Most of the Engineering colleges demand at least 60% marks in each of PCM, and an aggregate of 75%.

Dear aspirant ,
since you belong to OBC category  the eligibility for NIT and IIT  is a minimum of 65% .
But for state government colleges the eligibility is quiet less in some states it is 55 % aggregate with 33 marks in Physics ,chemistry, maths.

I don't think so that minimum marks required for OBC candidates is 65%. It is for SC/ST candidates.
For OBC as well as general candidates, the minimum criteria is of 75% aggregate in 10+2.
