What opportunity in BITS admission for the 12th Biology students ?

Hello dear,
The university of BITS Pilani organises their nationwide (and even some centres overseas) entrance test BITSAT every year during the month of May. Registration begins early the same year and you can choose from about 20 individual dates with two time slots each.
BITSATis a 3 hour online test, with 40 MCQ questions for Physics and Chemistry each and 45 for Mathematics. There is also a section for English and Logical Reasoning which have 10 and 15 questions respectively. The marking scheme is +3/-1. The nature of the test is intense and youll encounter questions with a difficulty level of the JEE Mains. You can also choose to attempt the 12 bonus questions after attempting all 150 standard questions. Hence, it is possible to score above 450.
Getting into BITS is competitive, owing to the limited number of seats (about 2700 per batch for all 3 campuses). Dubai campus has its own requirements, which I wont discuss. You can have a look at cut-off statisticshere.
Once counselling begins, you will need to choose your preferred programmes, including the campus which offers it. This should be strictly placed in your priority order as no changes can be made once you submit your application. There are a total of 4 iterations (and also a rare fifth one). With every iteration, you can expect to climb up your priority order, especially at the third one since the university deposit becomes non-refundable after that point (and IIT admissions start kicking in too). Your allotted programme is more or less final after the third iteration, but about 3040 students get bumped up to other programmes in the fourth or fifth, depending on the number of no-shows.
By the first or second week of August, everything settles down and youll be on your way to becoming a BITSian! Cheers!
