Your branch is good for research purposes.

However placement depends on your hard work and so much enthusiasm towards the subject ( SPML). Good luck

Hello!!!

Everything depends on your hard work. But mechanical has a little lower average package as compared to other branches. It is in between 4-6 lacs per annum. But for a start this package is also good as nit Surathkal has a name. In near future you will definitely get a better and a Higher package once you begin .

This program is not belong to mechanical ,it belong to CE,EE,EC streams so please give me answer according .

I am really sorry , I answered someone else's query in your section.
The course which you want to opt for has a lot of placement opportunities in leading companies like Wipro, erricsson, Infosys, tata elxsi etc with a salary starting from 20,000 to 70,000 per month . The average starting salary that it serves , thus shows the field is trending and growing. As far as the placements at nit Surathkal are concerned then for Mtech it's highest package in the previous year was around 22 lacs per annum.
