To get CSAI at IIIT Lucknow under the OBC-NCL category, you need an OBC rank under 3,000, which typically requires a JEE Main percentile of 98.79–98.99 (around 150+ marks). Since previous cutoff was around 3,040, aim for a 99+ percentile for better chances.

hi,

to get admission in IIIT Lucknow in CSAI branch for B.Tech your rank in JEE main should be between - 4751-4753 for the OBC NCL category .

please note that these ranks are collected from previous years data according to your provided information . these ranks vary annually on the basis of various factors like number of candidates , difficulty of the exam and the institutes requirements .

these were previous years cutoff .

now if you want a rank under 3000 in the OBC -NCL category typically it requires a higher percentile in the JEE mains exam while exact percentile vary each year but overall for this rank the expected percentile must be above 99 percentile , this would increase your chances in securing the seat .

hope this helps

Hello Ayush,

To secure a seat in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (CSAI) program at IIIT Lucknow as a male OBC candidate from Uttar Pradesh, you should aim for a JEE Main percentile of approximately 98.5% or higher . This estimation is based on previous years' data, where the closing ranks for OBC candidates in the CSAI program were around 3,040.

Achieving a percentile of 98.5% typically corresponds to a JEE Main score of around 150 marks.

However, these figures can vary each year due to factors like the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seat availability. Therefore, it's advisable to aim for a higher percentile to increase your chances of admission.

To secure a rank under 3000 in the OBC category for CS&AI at IIIT Lucknow , you should aim for a percentile around 95-97 in the JEE Mains exam; this range is generally considered necessary to achieve a rank within the top 3000 OBC candidates.

  • Variation in cutoffs:

Exact cutoffs fluctuate every year, so it's important to check the latest trends and previous year's data for accurate estimation.

  • Competition for CS&AI:

Since Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence is a highly sought-after branch, the cutoff for OBC category might be slightly higher compared to other branches.

  • State-level quota:

As a UP resident, you might benefit from a slightly lower cutoff within the OBC category.
