OBC candidates are provided 27% reservation in the seat allocation. To get a top colleges like top NITs, DTU, NSIT, IITH and similar others you need to get 97.5+ percentile or to be in safe zone better get 98+ percentile. If you get percentile like 95 or 96.5 then you will get lower branches in good NITs but you can get good branches in lower NITs like northeast NITs. You should have minimum of 96 percentile in JEE mains so as get good college with good branch in NITs being from OBC category.
NITs also have state quota,thus if you want seat in Home state the data may change.
