Hi Aspirant,
To get admission in the institute, you should rank according to your category i.e. reserved or unreserved. There are 3 seats for general candidates, 1 reserved for women, 2 for sc & st category. So, for general category, candidates should have a branch rank of below 20. OBC students can have a rank below 50 to get into the institute. For rest of the students, they should rank below 100 for better chance. SC/ST students with better rank will have better opportunities to get admission in the same college. It is not always guaranteed that if your rank is below 100 then you will definitely get a seat but you will have a better chance if your rank is below 100.
All the best
Hello aspirant,
Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering (SVUCE) is a privately owned autonomous college affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada. As it is a good college so the rank of the candidate should be below 100 and it also depends upon the reservation category of the candidate in which he/she falls. The rank of General category candidates should be not less than 20 (branch rank), because only 6 seats are allocated for lateral entry candidates from which 2 seats are for SC and ST category candidates and 1 for women category which leaves only 3 seats for General and OBC category candidates. Also it is not every time predictable that a SC or ST category candidate who has a rank below 100 can definitely get seat in SVUCE because, if a SC or ST candidate who ranks better will have greater chance to get a seat in the same college.
Hope this helps,
All the Best!!
