This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains as closing rank keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

When we go through previous year trend then ,
Under other state quota , closing rank for some of the nits/IIITs for which closing rank goes low are listed below along with their closing rank in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 for sc category :
National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering :- 8450 sc rank
National Institute of Technology, Instrumentation Engineering :- 8641 sc rank
National Institute of Technology Agartala, Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering :- 9207 sc rank
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Nagpur, Electronics and Communication Engineering :- 9884 sc rank

From above, it is clear that you need at least a rank of around 8000 to 9000 sc rank to get into an NITs / IIITs . And to get a rank in this range, you need at atleast around 86 percentile i. e 60-70 marks as per our rank predictor at
