What 's the next stage after clearing NTPC exam ? Are there any other Exams like pre or mains ?

Hey Srishti,
So the NTPC selection process is divided into 5 stages:
1. Preliminary Exam
- General Awareness, basic reasoning and math skills are assessed
2. Mains Exam
- A 90 minutes exam carrying 120 marks with negative marking
- Tests the candidate in same domains as prelims
3. Skill Test
Aims to assess two basic skills:-
a) Computer - Based Aptitude
b) Typing Skill
4. Document Verification
5. Medical Examination and Fitness Test
