Greetings Ashish!

Definitely you should fill the improvement percentage. As you have said you appeared for your improvement exam in 2017, so you should fill 2017 as the year of passing.

This year there is a slight change in the pattern of CAT, the exam time has been reduced from 3 hours to 2 hours. The sectional time limit has also been reduced from 60 mins to 40 mins.
