what should be my AIR rank to get free government seat in neet in karnakata from obc category?
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
First of all there is nothing like free seat, even in Government Medical College you have to pay fee but yes it is nominal when compared to private colleges
In neet 2019, 424 marks / an all india rank of 75119 was the was required for obc category for getting Government medical college for an mbbs seat and it was for Bowring and Lady Curzon Medical College and Research Institute, Bengaluru under karnataka State quota
But cut off rank keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.
So , you should target at least 450 marks or a rank of 75000 in your neet 2020 examination to be on the safer side to get seat in Government Medical College
