What should be my cml or category rank in Sc to get branch in bit sindri...plz reply..?

hi mandeep kumar,

if your CML rank is 2000 and category rank is 80 You have 50-50 chance of getting mechanical Engineering,cse and electrical engineering.

so try getting around 1000 and category rank 50 for for sure cse it mechanical and electrical.

But you can get other branches like mining engineering, metallurgical engineering,production engineering, civil engineering and chemical engineering.
You may also get other branches too in BIT sindri as per the previous year scenario.

ELIGIBILITY

BIT Sindri B.Tech course is open for the candidates with 45% marks in 10+2 (Science Stream). Final Selection to the program is based on JCECEEntrance Exam score followed by the allocation of seats through JCECEB Counselling (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board).

Candidates looking for Lateral Entry to B.Tech program must hold Diploma in Engineering. Selection to the same will be strictly based on JCECE examination merit list.

1. All admissions (except lateral admissions-10%) will be strictly based on JCECE examination merit list.
2. Admissions will be done through counselling sessions held at the Science & Technology campus of JCECE board.
3. The merit list will be prepared subject group-wise and the courses will be allocated on this basis only.
4. After selection of the course and confirmation of admission, the candidates have to appear at BIT Sindri campus in order to complete the admission formalities.
5. Document verification will be done at the time of counselling.
