U need not require advance rank to get into nit. Your mains rank is enough. For a good nit u have to get arank below 8000.

Getting into an NIT is not so difficult . there are some branches that are not filled even after 3 rounds so sometimes people with lower marks like 75100 marks can also get there.



But if you talk about a DECENT NIT with a GOOD BRANCH. It's not so easy if you don't have higher rank.
