Dear Aspirant,

The level of an exam easy or tough varies with person to person. JEE exam overall difficulty level mostly remains same in comparison with past year papers. The practice tests or the mock tests are usually tougher to prepare students for any level of difficulty. In JEE mains 98.5 percentile means your rank should be between 15,000 and 17,000. You will get admission in the colleges based on your rank.
To get 98.5 Percentile you need to score around 173 marks.
I advise you to not to get worried by difficulty level of the exam. Practice tough questions and prepare yourself for the worst nightmare. If you do enough practice you will sail through.
